Major Requirements

  • 8 PHILOS courses, minimum 27 credits
  • PHILOS 211 (Elementary Logic) or PHILOS 511 (Symbolic Logic)
  • PHILOS 430 (History of Ancient Philosophy) and PHILOS 432 (History of Modern Philosophy)
  • 5 advanced PHILOS courses (15 credits): 430, 432, and 511 may count toward this
  • 1 course in Metaphysics and Epistemology
  • 1 course in Value Theory
